There’s the cutest little art studio in my hometown! It’s a labor of love created by my dear friend Denise Etchison of D. Etchison Jewelry. She’s got an incredible artistic eye and a desire to serve her community.

Back in high school, Denise was the person that really taught me to explore my creative side. I interned with her for a year during my Senior year where she taught me how to make jewelry, supported me in my first jewelry show, and became some type of therapist to me!

Fast forward to my wedding in 2012 and Denise came through and made me an heirloom necklace to wear during my reception made with precious stones.

Now, The Metal Cottage is open for business and available to rent! When she asked me to help her snag some photos I was, obviously, 100% “in.” Denise and I continue to support each other and that’s the most amazing feeling.
