These two have a special place in my heart because I’ve heard the story so many times since marrying Mark and meeting so many military spouses – couple falls in love, Marine is set to deploy, couple has a quick courthouse wedding before he leaves for months, and then it seems a little silly to have a big wedding once they return.

That’s precisely how it went for Ashley and Josh! Prior to our session she’d never even tried on a wedding dress before, which made the experience that much more special.

When I tell you Josh was stunned seeing his bride in her gown I’m not even making it up… he was STUNNED! After the session, Ashely sent me a message thanking me and telling me that it sparked a flame between the two of them that they didn’t even know was lost. Oh, my heart!!
